The First Festival
OUR LADY OF MERCY WESTLAKE FESTIVAL
May 2nd through 5th, 1957

Steeped in the tradition of the Old West, Our Lady of Mercy Parish is holding their
First Famous Festival. The parish will be the scene of gaily decorated booths,
featuring games and chances on fabulous merchandise of every description. 
Good times and exciting experiences are assured both young and old.

THURSDAY, May 2nd: 1:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

FRIDAY, May 3rd 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M..
An eventful afternoon is planned for ,all children. Special games and activities
will guarantee the youngsters a busy, thrilling afternoon. That evening, commencing 
at 7 o'clock, the Westlake Festival will have its Grand Opening. Lucky First Nighters
may be the recipients of valuable door prizes.

SATURDAY, May 4th: 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.
Highlighted on the above days will be trips to Las Vegas and many special gifts. 
Throughout the Festival an added attraction will be the display of an authentic part 
of the Blarney Stone, direct from Ireland.

SUNDAY, May 5th: 1:00 P.M. to 12:00 midnight
This "Days of days" will be crowded with exciting events, featuring a delicious 
Roast Beef Dinner, the awarding of many valuable prizes including a power lawn
mower, an electric sewing machine, a deluxe rotisserie, huge baskets of groceries
and an assortment of festive wines and liquors. Climaxing the day will be the
awarding of the major Festival prizes - headed by the beautiful new 
DODGE CORONET LANCER.
