Francis Putulin Designs
Stations of the Cross
for Parish Meditation Garden

Plans are in the works to convert the yard at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center into a meditation garden with the Stations of the Cross and a Shrine to Our Lady of Mercy.

Francis Putulin, a seventh grade student of OLM School, working with Haegar Glass Studios and Fr. John Glogowski, will be presenting a series of designs for the Stations of the Cross utilizing wood, metal and stained glass. The project will be in process as we end the millennium.

The stained glass will be done in the style of the windows in the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy in the Church. Francis will work on the drawings (see sample above) and Pat and Mark Haegar of the stained glass studios will work with the window design and fabrication of the stations themselves.

Watch for coming announcements about the progress of this project, the possibility of sponsorship, and the availability of the Garden for parish prayer and meditation.
